On June, 2019 at approximately 10:03 PM, officers from the Hillsdale Police Department and the North County Police Cooperative were in the area of the 2100 block of Crescent Avenue while an annual neighborhood party was taking place. A shooting occurred and officers located an adult male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound in the front yard of a residence in the 2100 block of Crescent Avenue. The victim Randy Wilson Jr., 36 years of age, of Florissant, Missouri was later pronounced deceased.
Despite the presence of many people at the neighborhood gathering and in the immediate area of the incident when it occurred, detectives have been limited in their contacts with potential witnesses.
