Police in East St. Louis need your help to find the subject and the vehicle that Hit this young boy, and left the scene of the accident. The incident happened Wednesday evening, March 9th, 2016 around 6:30 p.m. on State Street at Post Place. Maurice was crossing State Street when he was hit by the unknown vehicle. Maurice lived close to this intersection. Maurice was rushed to the hospital but died about an hour later. There is no description of the vehicle that struck and killed Maurice. Maurice attended Gordon Bush Elementary school.
