On June 25th, 2020 Lawrence Franks Jr was standing with a group of people, in the front yard of a home in the 8100 block of Martin Luther King Blvd. in Kinloch. An unknown/undescribed vehicle with several suspects drove down the street and opened fire on the group of people in the front yard of the home. Lawrence “Huey” Franks Jr was struck by gunfire and ultimately died.
