The Illinois State Police and the East St. Louis Police Department are seeking information regarding the October 28 2014 murder of Joshua Custer. On Tuesday October 28, 2014 just after 11:00 p.m., Joshua Custer of East St. Louis was shot while standing on the corner of 11th Street and Bond Avenue, East St. Louis, in front of the Jon DeShields Housing Projects. Custer attempted to run away and was found deceased in an adjacent field.
