On September 30, 2010, at 6:13 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting at Windsor Park, located at 1501 Angelica. Upon arrival, the victim, Darren Thomas, was located suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and was pronounced deceased. The investigation revealed that after the victim parked and exited his 2004 Mercury Marquis, he was involved in an altercation with unknown suspects. During the argument, the victim was shot.
