On June 10, 2012 at 10:06 p.m. Corniesha Smith was walking in the 3900 block of Dunnica when shots were fired in the area. Corniesha sustained a gunshot wound. She was taken to an area hospital however died of her injuries days later. Witnesses said the victim was involved in an argument with several other people earlier in the day
