On Sunday, February 15, 2015, (Mardi Gras Weekend) at 3:15 AM, the St. Louis Fire Dept. extinguished flames from a car fire at 4055 McRee. The victim, Vincent (Vinnie) G. Cascella, age 24, was found deceased in the car. The victim had been shot several times before the car was set ablaze.
Vincent frequented the area of Cherokee and Iowa, where he was last seen alive. Vincent owned a Silver Pontiac Grand AM with very distinguishing posters and stickers on it. An example of the car is pictured above.
