On March 9, 2015, Rosalee Byrd was found deceased inside her home. Authorities determined the cause of
death to be homicide resulting from blunt force trauma. Since that time, investigators have pursued
numerous leads and continue their efforts to identify and apprehend the individual or individuals
responsible. The Salem Police Department’s Investigative Unit maintains that members of the public may
possess critical information related to this case.
