On July 13, 2015 at 7:00 PM, victim Rashad Farmer and a second victim were standing outside a residence in the 5800 block of Lotus Ave. when shots were fired. As one victim ran for safety, Farmer was struck by gunfire and collapsed in the street, where he died of his injuries. The second victim was struck by gunfire in the foot.
