SLMPD Homicide detectives continue to investigate the deadly shooting of 32-year-old Joshua Dismukes. On April 23, 2025, shortly before 1:30am, officers responded to a shooting at the B1 Market gas station in the 2800 block of N. Vandeventer. The victim was found shot in the parking lot after making a purchase at the gas station. He died after being rushed to the hospital.
