On September 4, 2014 about 7:30 PM, Victim Felita Davis was driving a Black 2014 Chevrolet Impala, with tinted windows on East Bound HWY 70 near the Grand exit when witnesses reported seeing a light
colored, Pontiac possibly a Firebird or Camaro, with a loud muffler pull on the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle. An unknown black, male then shot an assault rifle into the driver’s side of the victim’s
vehicle. The victim’s vehicle slowed and came to rest on the center median of East bound I-70 at mile marker 247.4. The victim later died of multiple gunshot wounds at an area hospital.
