On January 30, 2015 at 7:54 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Hull and Lee where they located a Pontiac Grand Prix parked in front of the vacant lot in the 4100 block of Hull Pl. The vehicle was running and locked. The vehicle had ballistic damage to the rear and passenger side doors. Located in the front driver’s seat was, Dorance Harvey, a 23-year old male, who was unconscious. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to his neck. He was pronounced deceased on the scene. A scene investigation located witnesses reported hearing gunshots in the area. Further investigation revealed the victim’s vehicle was being chased by a dark colored sedan possibly a four door Chevrolet Impala and a black Chrysler PT Cruiser. The occupants of those vehicles fired multiple gunshots at the victim’s vehicle as it drove on Hull Pl.
