On May 24, 2013 at approximately 12:19 a.m., the East St. Louis Police Department responded to a call of shots fired near A.M. Jackson School,1798 Summit Avenue, East St. Louis, IL. Victim Tyrone Guest had been shot and was located in a field near the school. It is believed the victim had been riding his bicycle in the area just prior to the shooting.
